Zero to Sexy by Triumph

Triumph launched their new lingerie series called Zero to Sexy during the Fashion On 1 event at 1 Utama Shopping Centre. I miss this show last year, so this time I make sure I'll be there on time to capture some hot and sexy shots.....Oooooo!

I found that it is a bit tricky this time on the lighting as the display panels located at the end of the runway are very bright so it tend to wash out the colours of the models. I'm not using any flash to fill up the subject, but the results are OK to me. One thing for sure, my new gears are performing more then what I'm expected and I'm dammm happy with it =).

All the shots I shown here only undergo very minimum editing, so what you see is what I see through the view finder. Arrrggghhhh...my left elbow are numb after the show, must be my old injuries again. Need some attention before it get worst. I have to agree that the new gears are definitely heavier then my old system, but this is the price i have to pay for my passion... haha ;)

Fashion On 1

Is time for some serious action during fashion week happening around in KL. Finally after a long wait, is time for me to try out my new gears and brush up my skills again. I'm expecting myself to create more stunning shots this time, and is no longer an excuse for me for not achieving my goal.

I'll be covering for my friend's boutique called 18Eighty on the coming 2nd of May at 1 Utama Shopping Centre during the Fashion on 1 event. This event will kick start from 24th April until 3rd May 2009. I was there last year and it was a great event, so I don't wish to miss it this time. So see you there!

Gather The Lost

About 2 weeks ago, I was given a chance to cover a performance by Nancy and her friends at KLPAC. It was happening in conjunction with Australia month at KLPAC and it was pretty interesting as she is performing Yoga...Yes, is Yoga. Well, what else i can do? Of course use my gear to kill some great shots of them. Let me show you some of the shots i took. Enjoy =)

First attempt

The first DSLR i have was a gift from my mom; is a Pentax 6.1MP *istDL, which couple with Sigma 18-55mm kit lens. Thanks to my mentor for helping me to get an affordable unit, and that mark the beginning of my journey in photography world =).

To me camera is totally a new thing, all i know is to shoot at 'P' mode; a program mode that preset everything and i don't need to worry for the next. More over the preset mode is done by my mentor...Haha.

I took the camera for a ride, a long ride to Koh Samui with some friends for a recce trip. It was an exciting, fun, yet a tiring journey. I think my partner Isma will know more about it, and I'm sure he is laughing when he read this...Am I right Isma? The recce took 3 days, and it took me about 16 hours in total from Kuala Lumpur to reach the Central Samui Hotel. This is the place where I took one of my favourite shot. The total distance for the journey is about 1600km...wow, that was really hell of a torture to my ride; a Perdana V6 with some mod on the suspension, breaking system, HID, and ATF cooler...Oooppss, not forgetting my Enkei wheels with Falken Azenis tyres =)

It was really a good experience and I wish i can do it again. But this time I'll make sure to get more nice shoots with my latest gear. (If you like to know what I'm using? Stay tuned!)

Mom's birthday

15th April 2009 - Today is my beloved mom's birthday, she turn 60 this year. But this year there aren't any celebration... as she has left me forever. I've promise myself that i will throw out a great birthday party for her at my new house...but it not going to happen, it will always be my wish... A wish which will never come true.
